II. General rules with regard to bets
1. Definition
By taking part in a bet on the website www.magicbettingsports.be, every player acknowledges that he/she understands that he/she is taking part in a bet, which implies the following: “Any game of chance in which any player makes a bet, and where winnings or losses are gained or incurred which depend not on an act of the player but on the realisation of an uncertain event which occurs without the player’s intervention.”
Participation in a bet therefore implies a risk of loss.
2. Account
In order to participate, every player is required to register on the website www.magicbettingsports.be.
The minimum age for registration is 21.
The player must provide us with his/her personal data (non-exhaustive list: first name, surname, address, national number, etc.). This data will be checked with the EPIS (Customer Identification and Excluded Persons Information System). If the applicant’s data do not appear in this system, his/her registration can be completed.
Magic Betting reserves the right to refuse a registration without being required to provide reasons for this refusal.
Upon completion of the registration process on the website, an account will be opened for the player automatically and free of charge.
The player is solely responsible for ensuring that the data linked to his/her account are correct and kept up to date.
Access to an account is only possible through a unique username and password. The player is solely responsible for keeping his/her username and password safe and confidential. Magic Betting is not obliged to store this information.
Every player may have only one account. If multiple accounts are discovered in the name of a single player, these will be merged.
Each account is strictly for personal use and may not be used for professional or commercial purposes, nor may it be used by any third party whatsoever, regardless of whether the registered player has granted his/her consent for this.
Every player will only be able to use debit cards and/or financial bank accounts in this player’s name, failing which the account may be suspended and/or deleted.
The euro is the only currency that can be deposited into an account.
A player may only deposit funds into his/her account and place stakes with funds of legal origin.
A player may only use his/her account and the funds deposited in this account for use as stakes in the bets on www.magicbettingsports.be.
Money transfers between different individual accounts are prohibited.
No loans or any types of credit are allowed.
Magic Betting has the right to settle any amounts owed by the player to Magic Betting by deducting these from the balance on the player’s account.
Magic Betting can impose a limitation on deposits, stakes, and payouts within the provisions set out by law in relation to this. A player can also independently impose limitations on his/her deposits and stakes.
A player can exclude him or herself from playing at any time. This can be done by clicking on “Responsible Gaming” from the homepage and following the procedure there, or by sending an email to: [email protected].
Magic Betting always reserves the right to suspend or even delete an account if there are suspicions or if it appears that the account holder has violated current terms and conditions and/or is guilty of unacceptable practices (such as suspicious transactions, manifestly unfounded disputes between the player and Magic Betting, defamation by the player, etc.) and/or has violated the law in general, in particular but not limited to money laundering prevention legislation. If an account is suspended or deleted due to such suspicions or circumstances, Magic Betting is not obliged to refund any money remaining in such account. A player may always enquire into the reasons for the suspension through [email protected]. Magic Betting may be obliged not to provide this information.
In the event that Magic Betting suspects a violation of the law, including in connection with money laundering prevention legislation, Magic Betting will report this to the competent authorities without delay.
If an account is blocked by the player (e.g. after entering an incorrect password 3 times), the player must ask Magic Betting to unblock his/her account. This can be done by submitting a request to [email protected]. The request will be acceded to if possible.
If an account is blocked due to self-exclusion, the player will be expected to observe the waiting time. Magic Betting will not be able to unblock the account prematurely.
The balance that a player has in his/her account will not bear interest for the player.
The withdrawal of any balance from a player’s account is subject to the following conditions:
2.1 Verification of Identity and Bank Details
- The player’s identity details must be verified during the registration process.
- Additional documentation (e.g., bank details or a selfie with the identity card) may be requested to confirm the accuracy of the information provided.
2.2 Payout Conditions
- Withdrawals will be paid only to the bank account from which the original deposit was made.
- The bank account must be registered in the player’s name.
- The name on the bank account must match the name on the verified identification document provided by the player.
- If any irregularities are suspected, Magic Betting reserves the right to:
- o Delay the payout until additional verification is completed.
- o Refuse the payout if the required conditions are not met.
2.3 Withdrawal Limits
The following withdrawal limits apply:
- Daily Limit: €5,000
- Weekly Limit: €15,000
- Monthly Limit: €25,000
We do not retain bank card data longer than strictly necessary. All payment information is processed through secure and compliant payment platforms and is only stored as long as required to complete the transaction or comply with legal obligations.
If any irregularities are suspected, Magic Betting may refuse or delay the redemption of a payout ticket until more information is obtained.
Changes or additions to payment details or payment information can only be made by contacting the helpdesk.
3. Privacy policy
Magic Betting protects and respects the privacy of its players. Furthermore, Magic Betting complies with all applicable laws with respect to data protection and privacy. More information can be found on www.magicbettingsports.be, under the “Privacy policy” header.
4. Bets
4.1 Placing a bet
Á payer cannot place a bet if his/her account lacks sufficient balance to cover the entire bet.
When the bet is placed, the corresponding amount will be debited from the player’s account.
The player is obliged to inspect the online betting slip prior to placing the bet. Bets are not subject to refunds after they have been placed. Neither may any changes be made to a bet at this in time.
Multiple bets may be regarded a single bet if the player places the same bet several times.
Given the many possible combinations on a betting slip, these are not specified in these regulations. More information on possible combinations can be obtained from Magic Betting ([email protected]). If a player is uncertain about a particular combination, he/she should make an inquiry before creating a betting slip.
If a player wishes a certain combination of stakes and this is not possible, the player must accept this.
A number of restrictions are placed on the acceptance and the payout of bets. These include usage restrictions, stake limits, legal deposit limits, limits per betting slip, maximum payout limits, and personal customer limits.
Bets entered into through the website but which have not been confirmed will not be recognised.
4.2 Late betting
Bets can only be placed in relation to the result of events taking place in the future. If the result is already known and has not been included in the odds, bets on this event are invalid (e.g. where a bet for the first maker of a goal is accepted after the first goal has been scored). If the bet is placed after the start of the betting event (except in the case of live betting) or if the stake is not paid on time, the bet will be declared void.
4.3 Related events
Accumulative and/or multiple bets are not accepted if the result of one part of the bet contributes to the result of another part.
If such a bet is inadvertently accepted, the selection with the lowest odds will be declared void. If the related selections have different settlement dates, the result with the last settlement date becomes invalid (e.g. if a pilot were to win the British Grand Prix and the same pilot wins the Championship).
4.4 Errors
Bets placed and accepted by a player cannot be withdrawn or changed by the player. For this reason, the player must ensure that all details of his/her bets are correct.
Magic Betting makes every effort to ensure that bets are accepted without error. However, if due to human error or problems with the system, a bet is accepted at odds (including handicap conditions and other terms or details of the bet) that differ significantly from the odds on the general market at that the time when the bet was placed, Magic Betting reserves the right to declare all the selections concerned invalid.
4.5 “Live score” data
Please note that data displayed such as “current scores”, “elapsed time”, and “duration of the match” are derived from “live broadcasts” by a third party and may therefore be subject to delays and/or be incorrect. A customer placing bets based on these data does this at his/her own risk, and Magic Betting cannot be held liable for any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising from any result of “live score” data.
4.6 Collusion
Players must record their bets individually. Repeated applications containing the same selections of bets can be declared void in retrospect. Selections of bets may be deemed invalid if Magic Betting suspects that players are acting in collusion or as a group, or if the bets in question are made by one or more players within a short period of time
4.7 Manipulation
If the company were to discover or suspect that a betting event could be rigged, it reserves the right, at its absolute discretion:
- to suspend the offer of a betting event or series of betting events; and
- to delay and/or withhold payment of bets on any betting event or series of betting events until the integrity of that betting event or series of betting events is confirmed by the relevant sports federation.
Furthermore, if active manipulation is confirmed by any official body in relation to a betting event or series of betting events, the company reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to suspend all betting on such betting events or for any person who is known to have insider knowledge or information relating to the betting event, or on any other person who, in the legitimate opinion of the company, is related to, cooperates with, or is in any way involved with that person.
4.8 Prohibited participation in betting
Placing a bet on betting events in which the player is a participant (“a participant” implies that a person is involved as sportsman or woman, an athlete, an owner, a coach, or an employee of a participating club) or on betting events that take place based on the instructions of a participant is not permitted. Furthermore, bets on league, cup, or championship matches or any other betting event in which the respective club and/or organisation participates may not be entered into or commissioned by those persons who are deemed to be a participant in the betting event. If these rules are violated, the company reserves the right to refuse to pay out winnings and stakes, and to cancel bets. The company cannot be required to know whether the player is a participant as described above. Accordingly, Magic Betting will have the right to reclaim money at any time by taking the required action after it becomes aware that a player or related party should not have placed a bet; in addition, it will have the right to report this to the relevant sports authority and/or the Gaming Commission.
5. Odds
The range of betting events and the associated odds may change and, if necessary, be limited to certain stake levels. Odds change regularly as a result of market fluctuations or changes to the events themselves (e.g. when a goal is scored). Changes to the odds do not affect bets that have already been placed and confirmed.
Odds offered in live betting are not guaranteed to be available for the entire duration of the betting event and a player betting on a betting event in progress accepts that, as it progresses, it is no longer possible to bet on it.
6. Response
For the purposes of settlement, the original official result, published immediately following the end of the competition and/or event by the relevant official sporting federation, will be deemed to be the final result. Unless Specific Sporting Rules provide otherwise, this rule applies to all events.
- Any subsequent changes to the results, whether due to a disciplinary hearing or for any other reason, will not affect the settlement of the bet.
- If the official result of a sporting event is not available, Magic Betting will determine the result independently based on all available evidence.
Magic Betting reserves the right to award a “Dead Heat” discount for any event in which more winners are declared than originally indicated. “Dead Heat” rules will apply to any event where more winners are declared than the number originally declared.
7. Winnings
‘Winnings’ means the amount of proceeds calculated based on the odds of the bets placed and won, less 2% (two per cent) of such proceeds retained for tax compensation. The tax compensation is only deducted once the bet ticket is settled as a winning one.
Winnings are automatically credited to the player’s account after the results have been confirmed.
The maximum amount that can be won from any betting slip is €50,000 (fifty thousand euros), regardless of the number of bets placed.
With respect to fees, taxes, or levies on betting winnings, the player is independently responsible for their declaration, their payment, and submitting the relevant proof to the competent authorities.
If a player does not agree with the settlement of a betting slip (e.g. the winnings are lower than expected), he/she can request more information from the Magic Betting helpdesk ([email protected]).
When reviewing a bet, Magic betting may propose an “Early Cash-Out”. This is a proposal for the early redemption of the betting slip used to place the bet. If the player accepts this, he/she will be paid the proposed amount and the entire betting slip will expire. An Early Cash-Out cannot be reversed.
The use of any systems, software, or artificial intelligence, and machines, computers, software, or other automated systems designed to manipulate the software on the www.magicbettingsports.be web page in particular is prohibited. Winnings obtained through the use of such systems, software, or artificial intelligence will be forfeited.
8. Application of Specific Sporting Rules
Depending on the sport, betting is subject to Specific Sporting Rules that are accepted by the player. More information can be found on our website under “Betting rules”.
9. Cancelled and/or delayed events
Unless specified otherwise in the Specific Sporting Rules, all bets on cancelled or postponed matches are void unless the match is rescheduled and takes place within the next 24 hours. In the latter case, the bets remain valid. All bets that can be definitively assessed at the time of the interruption or cancellation will be settled according to the result at the time of the interruption or cancellation.
10. Change of sports venue
If a team does not play at the announced venue, bets on the match will remain valid provided that the new venue is not the one where the opponent usually plays (or, in the case of international matches, provided that the venue remains in the same country). However, Magic Betting reserves the right to declare a bet invalid if it is deemed that a change of venue has a significant effect on the odds of the match.
11. Cancellation of a bet
Magic Betting cannot be held liable if a betting slip is cancelled. Possible reasons for a cancellation may be: odds that do not correspond to the actual situation, matches that have ended and are still on offer at the terminals, suspicious patterns in certain bets, a playing time that deviates from the regular playing time (e.g. 3 x 30 minutes) and which is not yet known at the time of kick-off, etc.
12. Availability
Magic Betting makes every effort to keep its website and applications, as well as the ability to place bets, available without interruption.
Users acknowledge that access to the website, applications, software and the bets offered may be temporarily or permanently prevented. This may be the result of, among other things, planned or unplanned maintenance work, updates or repairs, security incidents such as hacking attempts or other events beyond Magic Betting's control, including disruptions in internet traffic. In addition, the service may be disrupted by defects in equipment, communication lines, routing problems, computer viruses, software errors or other technical irregularities of any kind.
Insofar as the cause can be attributed to Magic Betting, it will take reasonable measures to limit the consequences of such disruptions. However, users accept that Magic Betting cannot be held liable for any (temporary) unavailability, blocking, suspension or interruption of the website, applications, software or bets.
If a user submits a complaint regarding the inaccessibility of the website, applications, software or a specific bet, Magic Betting reserves the right to request evidence, such as a screenshot. Submitting or requesting such evidence does not imply an admission of liability.
The website and applications may contain links to external third-party websites. These links are provided for information purposes only. Magic Betting has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, legality, operation or availability of these external websites. Any visit to such websites is at the user's own initiative and entirely at their own risk.
13. VAR
Magic Betting reserves the right to change the outcome of a bet after the VAR (Video Assistant Referee) is called in. Therefore, an initially winning bet may lose (and vice versa) or be cancelled following VAR interference.
14. Forfeit in tennis
If one of the players in a tennis match forfeits, all bets on that match will be cancelled.
15. Inactive or Dormant accounts
Magic Betting classify an account to be inactive (“Dormant Account") after a period of 12 months after the last account login.
An e-mail will be sent to the account to confirm when it has become classify as a Dormant Account. The player may reactivate an Inactive Account by logging into that account and continuing to play.
Once an account becomes a Dormant Account, Magic Betting will deduct an administration fee of €5.00 from the Account on a monthly basis until such a time as the Inactive Account is no longer in credit or has become active once again.
Magic Betting reserve the right to close an account at any point after an account becomes Dormant.
16. Complaints procedure
In the event of complaints or disputes, players can contact Magic Betting by chat or by email ([email protected]). A widget is available for this purpose on the website.
Complaints to Magic Betting must be submitted within one month after the end of the match to which the bet relates.
All communication issued in writing must contain at least following information:
- Your username/account number
- Your registered name and surname
- A detailed explanation of the comment and/or complaint
- Specific dates and times linked to the comment and/or complaint (if applicable)
Every complaint or dispute is treated seriously and with due care. In the event of a dispute between a player and Magic Betting, Magic Betting will always strive to arrive at a solution through dialogue. Magic Betting will endeavour to resolve any complaints or disputes within 48 hours. If we must rely on third parties for the processing of your complaint, we count on the Player’s understanding in the event that we fail to meet this deadline. In the event of a serious dispute in regard of which no agreement is possible, each party can apply to the competent court (i.e. the one competent at the registered office of BV Betting Service).
Everyone is entitled to contact the Gaming Commission at any time ([email protected]).
The current game rules are valid from and updated on 16th December 2025. In case of doubt as to the correct interpretation of these General Terms and Conditions in a language other than Dutch, the Dutch text present on this website shall be the only legally valid text.
